The Church of the Brother's Novitiate

Dear friends and Benefactors,

           Only two months to go for the planned consecration of the Church! 13th of May …. 100 years of Fatima! All for the glory of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Please we need your continued help. The costs are rising exponentially! As I am writing to you now, our bank balance will be at zero in about 3 weeks. We have, nevertheless, all our confidence in St. Joseph. Below, again you will find some pictures of the church construction. A friend came by with a little radio-controlled helicopter and took these beautiful aerial photos.

            On the 11th of February, feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, we made the solemn blessing of the statute of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Then she was lifted as you may see below. It was not too easy: the statue weighs about 400 kg … and… nothing of hers was to be broken. We succeeded excepting a finger on her right hand cracked.  A week ago we received the large carved “retablo”, carved by our artists in Paete, Laguna.
