Fr. Robert Brucciani returned to India for two weeks from 28th November to 11th December to preach a retreat to one novice and two postulants of the Consoling Sisters of the Sacred Heart at Servi Domini Orphanage in Tirunelveli (6km from the priory) to the delight of himself, the sisters and children. There were plenty of smiles and sunshine.

Saturday 3rd December, Deveraj, the father of one of our boys died two days after receiving the last rites. He was buried on the Sunday.

6th December, the children performed the play, "the Dialogue of the Carmelites," which brought tears to the eyes of Fr. Emmanuel du Chalard who was also visiting.

7th December, Fr. Brucciani visited the pious union, the Reparation Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. They have recently moved from their native Tuticorin to be near the priory at Palayamkottai so that they may have daily Mass.

8th December, Sister Maria Francesca made her first profession and two young ladies recieved the religious habit together with their names: Sr. Maria Cecilia and Sr. Maria Aloysia.

9th December, Fr. Brucciani visited Veritas Academy which now has over 70 children.

10th December, the boys went on a trip to the beach at the southern most tip if India. We sang the Alma Redemptoris Mater at the foot of a statue of Stella Maris which looks out upon the Indian Ocean. Deo gratias.
